Coolhostel - Porto

I recently stayed at a great hostel in Porto called Coolhostel. My purpose of travel was to explore the city and do some sightseeing. I stayed for a week and had a fantastic experience. The location of the hostel was perfect, as it was centrally located and within walking distance to all the attractions. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. One unique feature was that a friendly seagull greeted us every morning, which added a charming touch to our stay. Additionally, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, as there were no noises from the streets.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect - just a short walk to the river bank. The renovated bathrooms were modern and the shower was excellent. Plus, the breakfast provided a good variety of options.

We also enjoyed the fact that we had kitchen facilities, which allowed us to prepare our own meals and save some money. Best aspects: the location was great, with easy access to public transportation and amenities. Having the option to cook our own meals was a big bonus for us.

One downside of this hostel was the lack of an elevator. We had a room on the top floor, and carrying our bags up the stairs was quite a challenge, especially with children.

And the location was ideal, with all the main sights of the city just a short walk away. The hostel is located in the heart of the town with shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. the room was clean and cozy, with a nice common area and a terrace overlooking the backyard. It is conveniently close to the Bolhao market and the Chapel of Souls.
